An un-conference is a conference/workshop-y format where all the participants is prepared to participate in the camp in different ways. Putted another way, you have to prepare something that you're passionate about that could occupy the other participants for a minimum of 30 minutes.

So who is it for ?

Basically everyone can participate in Socialmediacamp Copenhagen, no matter if you are a super social media user, an expert or a newbie. If you have any interest in Social Media Socialmediacamp Copenhagen is the place to be.

Sponsorships are 2000 DKR so that even startups can contribute on a monetary level to keeping this a free, underground-y community event. :) 

• 2000 DKR sponsors will have their logos on the t-shirt; on printed materials which will be posted and handed out at local universities and other establishments; and on Socialmediacamp Copenhagen posters at the event;
  
• 1000 DKR donors will have their logos displayed on posters at the event; donors may also have their logos on other printed materials, depending on space, but probably not on the t-shirts;
• All sponsors and donors will be displayed online at socialmediacamp.dk and on the Barcamp.org wikipage for Socialmediacamp Copenhagen

Are you joining us ? This is how you could prepare:

•  Register here on EventBrite to give coordinators an idea as to how many people are coming (and to get your nametag printed, instead of Sharpie'd!); 

• Tell your friends to come =)

• use the smccph tag if you decide to tweet or blog about us
  

• Follow the Socialmediacamp Copenhagen blog for updates (not up yet). or follow us on twitter: http://www.twitter.com/smccph

• Bring a laptop - It's great for showing off that program you mentioned in your session;

• Come early, but not too early - Showing up at the announced starting time will be fine. Show up earlier, and you'll get drafted for setup work (much appreciated!). Show up later, and you'll miss some social activity and your T-shirt;

• Be ready to participate - come with an idea for a session you can lead. You don't have to be an expert at your topic; as long as it's not too specific, there'll probably be someone else present who can help you out. You can also contribute to the conversation during a session. This is a great way to participate, since it spreads knowledge from everyone.

In Real Life (inreallife.dk) is a community seeking to enhance the offline stuff for online people.

With initiatives such as Barcamp Copenhagen, socialmediacamp Copenhagen, Workshops and recently also (slowly) starting up social media club copenhagen, we meet to explore the internet.
